It is a Sustainable Development Goal in which it shows us measures to combat climate change and its effects.
Climate change is affecting every country on every continent. It is disrupting national economies and affecting lives. Weather patterns are changing, sea levels are rising, and weather events are becoming more extreme.
Although greenhouse gas emissions are projected to drop about 6 per cent in 2020 due to travel bans and economic slowdowns resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, this improvement is only temporary. Climate change is not on pause. Once the global economy begins to recover from the pandemic, emissions are expected to return to higher levels.
Saving lives and livelihoods requires urgent action to address both the pandemic and the climate emergency.

The circular economy as an opportunity to promote energy self-consumption
The confederation of Valencian neighborhood associations, CAVE-COVA, has organized this Saturday a conference on the circular economy to resolve doubts about this concept and report on the benefits for residents of betting on recycling or renewable energy. The president of the entity, Juan Antonio Caballero, affirms that the excess of waste that is in landfills or the extraction of raw materials from the natural environment at an ever-increasing rate demonstrate that "the linear economy is not sustainable."
CAVE-COVA aims to promote the circular economy among neighborhood associations by raising awareness about climate change or the planned obsolescence of technological devices, although Caballero explains that it must be accompanied by a greater commitment on the part of public administrations to open this debate .
Study sees more hot days in Greece by century’s end
One of the main consequences of climate change in Greece is expected to be an increase in the number of hot days.
According to studies conducted by research teams from the National Observatory of Athens, the Bank of Greece’s Climate Change Impacts Study Committee and universities, there will be 35-40 more days per year with a maximum temperature above 35 degrees Celsius (95 Fahrenheit) in the period 2071-2100. Likewise, the number of nights when the temperature does not fall below 20 Celsius will increase by 50.
