My Mission

The PROACT lab focuses on applied multi-disciplinary, collaborative high-quality research to understand injury trends and evaluate interventions across populations with a strong focus on equity. By doing so, we build the evidence base required to create policies and interventions that prevent unintentional injuries in Canada and internationally.

My mission is all about the "so what"?  Doing academic research for the sake of research is not how I envision my work. How my applied research is being used and what the impact it has on communities and people that live in them, is what is important to me.
