The End of an Era ... and the Start of a New One
After seven years, we held our last meeting at The Old Rectory on Tuesday, 21st October 2025. We'd like to thank Amelia, Tim and Peter for looking after us and feeding us so well over all these years, and wish them good luck on whatever the next leg of their journey has in store for them.
Our journey has taken us to Pips Coffee House in Ancaster Square, where we will now hold our fortnightly meetings. We'd like to thank Shannon and her staff for providing us with our new home and for providing us with such good food and hospitality. We look forward to spending many years there.

What we've been up to in the past year or so ...
It's been a fairly busy year since 1st July 2024. Here are just a few of the things we've been up to:
Handover to new President
Handover to new President
Every year, a new President is appointed to oversee the running of the Club. On 7th July 2026 Past President Michael Kay, having completed his 3rd stint as President, handed over to incoming President, John Isgrove. After serving many long years as our Secretary, John is now embarking on his 2nd stint as President.
New President Elect
New President Elect
Always looking to the future, the Club looked on as new President John invited Peter Mehta to assume the role of President Elect, meaning that Peter will take over from John as President for the 2027/28 session.
Christmas Coffee & Crafts
Christmas Coffee & Crafts
Every year we hold a Christmas Coffee and Crafts event in Callander Kirk Hall to bring Christmas cheer to the folk of Callander and to raise funds for our Charity Account. This year we raised over £1,270 and much of that has already been distributed to causes such as StartUp Stirling. Click here to view some photos from the event
Primary School Quiz
Primary School Quiz
For nearly ten years we have held a Primary School Quiz for which all of the primary schools in our catchment area enter teams of four Primary 7 children. The winners go to a Regional Final later in the year, and, if lucky enough to win that, on to the National Final. This year's winner of our heat was Aberfoyle Primary School. Bottle Stalls
Bottle Stalls
Always a reliable fundraiser, we hold two bottle stalls per year - one during the Jazz Festival weekend in September/October and the other in Easter. Usually, it's not just about a bottle tombola, but often we have a bric-a-brac stall and a Lucky Dip for the kids (young and old). They are also a good way for us to engage with our community.
