Rules and Regulations

Eligibility/Entry:

1. The competition is open to all current undergraduates of University of Peradeniya.

2. Each participant is allowed to submit up to three (3) different t-shirt designs for the competition.

3. Designs must be suitable for a collarless t-shirt and intended for digital printing.

4. All submitted designs must prominently feature the logo of the University of Peradeniya. 

Design Guidelines:

1. Designs should be original, creative, and align with the theme of the competition - Tee-Tastic.

2.  Submissions must be in a high-resolution digital format, with a minimum size of 4000px X 4000px resolution, and submitted as JPEG or PNG files.

3. Participants must provide the original design file (.psd or any other format) if requested by the judging panel.

4. Use of open-source or AI assistance is allowed, but the final design must be entirely original.

Submission Deadline:

1. The deadline for design submissions is 15th February 2023

2. Late submissions will not be considered.

Selection Process:

1. The winning design will be selected through a combination of a Facebook voting campaign and a panel of judges. 

2. Facebook Voting: Designs will be posted on the Facebook page of Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya, and the design with the most votes within a week of posting will receive 50% weight in the final decision.

3. All the voters must have liked and followed the Rotaract Club's Facebook page.

4. Judge Board Panel: A panel of judges appointed by the Rotaract Club will evaluate the submissions based on creativity, adherence to guidelines, and overall visual appeal. The panel's decision will also hold 50% weight in the final decision.

5. The winner will be announced on 28th February 2023.

Prize:

1. A gift voucher worth Rs.5000.

2. Free T-shirt printed with the winning design for the winning designer.

3. The winning designer will receive a valuable certificate.

4. Recognition on social media platforms, the Rotaract Club's website, and at the Grandeeza'24 award ceremony.

Intellectual Property:

1. By submitting a design, participants affirm that their entries are original creations.

2. The winning designer agrees to sign a waiver allowing the Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya, to use their design, free of charge, for any and all printing and promotional purposes, with appropriate credit to the designer.

File Submission and Modifications:

1. The contest winner must submit a high-resolution layered vector art file within 7 days of notification.

2. The winner agrees to work with the Association's printer if slight changes or modifications are necessary for production.

General Terms:

1. The Rotaract Club, University of Peradeniya, reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the specified guidelines.

2. The decision of the judging panel and the Facebook voting campaign is final and binding.

3. The Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya, reserves the right to use submitted designs for promotional purposes, with appropriate credit to the designer.

By entering the Tee-Tastic T-Shirt Design Competition, participants agree to abide by these rules and regulations mentioned above.
