Program Overview

SESSION 01 - Introduction to Design Principles (2 hours)

• Conducted by, Rtr. Chathum Nawanjana (Director of Digital Media, Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya - 2022/23). 

• Explore the fundamentals of designing, covering key principles that form the basis of effective visual communication.

• Hands-on sessions exploring Canva, how to apply design principles to create captivating visuals.

SESSION 02 - Deep Dive in to Design Principles (2 hours)

• Conducted by, Rtr. Chathum Nawanjana (Director of Digital Media, Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya - 2022/23). 

• Explore more advanced design principles that elevate your designs to the next level.

• Hands-on sessions exploring Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator how to apply design principles in creating captivating visuals.

SESSION 03 - Video Editing Mastery (1 hour)

• Conducted by, Rtr. Hashintha Geethadeva  (Director of Digital Media, Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya - 2022/23). 

• Dive into the art of video editing, learning the basics of storytelling through visuals and the technical aspects of video production.

• Practical sessions to enhance skills using popular video editing tools.

SESSION 04 - Video Editing Mastery (1 hour)

• Conducted by, Rtr. Hashintha Geethadeva  (Director of Digital Media, Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya - 2022/23). 

• Diving more into the art of video editing, learning the basics of storytelling through visuals and the technical aspects of video production.

• Enhance skills using popular video editing tools.

SESSION 05 - Self Branding and Freelancing Opportunities (1 hour)

• How to build your own personal branding.

• Gain insights into freelancing as a digital designer and discover various online platforms for freelancers.

• Explore potential job opportunities and career paths in the digital design industry.

Task Series

Participants will be given a series of creative tasks to apply the concepts learned in the bootcamp. Engage in hands-on projects to solidify skills and build a portfolio.
