The life of Sabrina,. She’s from New York, moved to Chicago a couple years ago. A straight A’s student, very helpful and respectful. The move was hard on her because she left behind family and friends, which caused her to be upset. New York is a beautiful State, many say that live there from how many people there are living there. Her childhood was scary in away that no one should go through as a child. It’s very hard living in a state where you don’t have family. She also seen her father abuse her mother, don’t think you could eve recover from that. You’re at a point where you can’t even trust your father alone with your mother. No one should go through that. You should trust your parents with your whole life. Your parents should be the shoulder to cry on. Someone to vent to and open up to. Sabrina couldn’t do that because her family was hurting. The deaths and the abusive relationship. She had friends to vent to though and cousins to help her out. Sabrina didn’t mention in the audio but she has told me that she lost and gained weight from her experience, she had an eating disorder. Eating disorder is an illness that involves unhealthy feeling about the food that you eat. It mostly happens to woman because of their emptions and all the stages that they go through. We need to have more confidence in ourselves and show other people what we can get in life without having a perfect body. The media shows us how these girls are supposed to look and how beautiful they should be. We should be comfortable in our own skin no matter how we see it as. That’s really not the case every woman is beautiful matter a fact everyone is beautiful no matter what his or her color of skin is to his or her hair color. Just be nice to one another you never know when its your time to leave this earth and you wouldn’t want be remembered as the mean person. Always have a heart and be generous don’t be selfish. Anyways what a roller coaster that she’s been on ever since she been a young girl. Sabrina has been through a lot. Ever since she’s been little kid, she’s seen things that she wasn’t supposed to see as a child. She held it strong and still kept a smile on her face. Even though it was hard on her she still was happy in a way. Didn’t want others to see that she was hurting. Also needed someone to vent to a friend. Sabrina was also going to school at the time also. That has hard on her to ignore what was going on in her life. Now it s the opposite nothing gets to her anymore. If she sees her family arguing she just leaves the house she doesn’t want to get involved.
Sabrina is a strong woman who went through it all. When I first met her I wouldn’t have had thought that she went through that because of how happy she is. She hides her emotions a lot. Doesn’t really like to show her soft spot. Definitely hates it, she’s more outgoing and loveable. When I asked to interview her she was hesitating but didn’t to force her but she eventually agree to let me interview her.
Sabrina’s close friend Karen from New York had a lot to say about Sabrina’s childhood. Karen grew up with Sabrina so she knows her more than anyone besides her parents. When I called her Sabrina was with me. She dint say much but I called her again when I was alone and she said way more. Sabrina was really hurting she tried moving in with her friend but that didn’t work out. Karen always was there for Sabrina she would pick up Sabrina and spend time with her often. Karen talked about how nice Sabrina is and how good a heart she has. She also talked about how upset all the time she was. Sabrina would skip school when she was upset. But throughout the years Sabrina changed she was insecure but not she’s more confident then ever. It was nice talking to Karen she really helped me figure out what Sabrina’s childhood was like. Karen is her best friend she knows everything about Sabrina. When Sabrina gets upset she gets angry with a others. She’s also more to herself. Doesn’t really like to show her emotions to others. The more closer I got to her the more she vented to me. Sabrina is a very talented singer she lives to sing. Singing is a way for her to show her emotions. She has such a beautiful voice, always sings out of nowhere. I love how she sings out of nowhere it’s so cute. Singing can be a way to escape the real life. Lots of people love to hear the sound and the lyrics it helps them cope. Music helps lots of people overcome their fear too. I know someone who was insecure but now that they had listened to lots of music there far from insecure. People also listen to music for the tune, and all the energy an artist can transmit through the music. Anyways Sabrina shows her love to music a lot. Karen also mentioned how much she loves singing. Sabrina’s such a strong woman that’s been through it well as I said again her singing can be used as something from how good her voice sounds. I know she’s been to a couple partied where she was the signer. She’s not ashamed from her voice or what others say about her. Most people care on what other think of them and their appearance. Just be you and who cares what others say. You only live once live your life at its fullest. After everything Sabrina went through she’s still living her life like nothing happened. That’s beautiful to see what she overcame. Karen also mentioned how Sabrina isn’t mush scared of anything, she’s more independent she can go to a restaurant and eat alone, shop alone. She could honestly care less to what others say about her. That’s amazing because I can barley go anywhere alone I like to have someone with me because of what’s been going on with kidnapping, sex trafficking there’s lots of horrible stuff going on. Sabrina is a life day hero by all her horrible experiences she’s been through and she still kept her head high, now’s that’s a warrior. She put her problems to the side and did her work. From schoolwork to her job, she coped with a lot.
After the entire trauma Sabrina been through she still manages her day. I see Sabrina as a hero in my eyes. At the end of the day not everyone has that perfect life. If they say they do it’s a lie. Even though it was tough for Sabrina her childhood was memorable. She grew up with a roof on top of her head. Food to eat she lived a lavish life but it wasn’t perfect. Sabrina grew up with her parents alive who love and cherish her. She studies her religion, which is Islam. Speaks fluently Arabic and English. Lastly Sabrina has been through the worse and the good but now she’s a better person and sees the best for others.
