The coronavirus has been on struggle towards lots people From losing their jobs, well being laid off at the moment to losing a loved one. At first I thought this whole virus was a joke didn't care much for it. I am never one to worry, like ever, but I am in full blown panic mode as of now due to COVID19. For all of those who continue to downplay this pandemic please stop. It's okay to promote calm but it is not okay to delete a very dangerous threat to people's lives. I had lost my Aunt due to COVID19, its been really hard on my family and I to cope with her death because there was a certain amount of people who can come in the hospital and the funeral. I just wanted to give a kiss goodbye but couldn't even get to see her. As difficult as it is for me to say this, as much as it hurts and pains my heart and as much as we need the love and support more than any time at that moment, It was very emotionally difficult to not give or accept hugs or exchange handshakes at a time when we are most vulnerable and need it, but we did not want to risk anyone's health or bring further pain to our community. We were told by the government that If you are going to buy anything for the house or even food or coffee, take it to go, wipe it down with disinfecting wipes, also wear gloves and masks at the time too. There is a point to that to keep your self safe at the end of the day. We should all be thankful to all healthcare workers who helped the patients who were diagnosed with the virus and help as much as possible. To the people who risked their lives the aka essential workers, healthcare workers deserve a gold metal, speaking from an essential worker. Its been really rough working where all this is going around. Rude guests coming and going, buying unnecessary items just to leave the house. People don't understand to "Stay at home". Yes you guys are young may not think that this virus would effect you but it can no matter the age. You guys should be staying home in quarantine and enjoying the matter of life, how everything you had can be gone in a blind of a second. Enjoy your time at home with your family and their presents. Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. That ties in by health care workers volunteering at hospitals and caring for the patients in need.
