Introducing "Curated Commute", an AI Agent to turn that "dead time" into a connection.

The Problem & Vision: We are facing a "Paradox of Crowded Isolation"—being surrounded by millions on the subway yet feeling completely alone. To solve this, I built Curated Commute, a real-time AI concierge designed to reclaim your commute. Instead of just searching for "coffee," our agent understands your emotional context. Whether you need a "Quiet Sanctuary for Anxiety," a "Queer Safe Space," or a "Sober Community Hub," the app instantly curates inclusive "Third Spaces" near your subway stop, helping you find belonging in the city's chaos.

The Tech (Agentic AI & Multimodal): This isn't just a wrapper; it’s a production-grade Agentic workflow. I built a Multimodal Interface where users can upload a photo or paste an Instagram Reel, and our agent (powered by Gemini) extracts the "vibe" to find nearby spots with a similar vibe. The app features a "Glass Box" UI, giving users full transparency as the agent analyzes weather, time, and safety data in real-time. By leveraging Tavily's Search API for live "vibe checks" and Supabase Edge Functions for orchestration, we ensure every recommendation is grounded, safe, and hallucination-free.
