When the school district announced it's intent to use a newly purchased property to operate a bus barn in the Rosewood Neighborhood, our board heard residents' concern about the concerning impacts. The board collected input from many of our residents and collected data to measurably demonstrate the potential negative safety impacts. We even ran a prototyping session with 7 buses on our streets to show these impacts in motion. With the support and testimony from over 100 people in our area, the school district and the Lake Oswego Development Review commission unanimously voted against plans to operate a bus barn in its proposed Rosewood location. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this effort.
