The day before the event (the 13th of February), we made a list with all the people that had to pick up their rose(s) in the Atrium the friday morning and to whom we had to deliver them. We also proceed to write the message on the little cards.
D Day arrived !!!
We organised our stall with a little help of Cristin, the person of the charity we were in relation with.
From left to right, Justine, Giorgia Cristin and Elsa. Cristin came to support us during the sales.
We wanted to thanks her personally for all her help and kindness with us during our project.
You can see us with our tee shirt from the campaign "Too into You".
New laws brought in last year under the Domestic Violence Act 2018 mean that women experiencing abuse in dating relationships can now apply for Safety and Protection orders.
Women's Aid has launched a new free 'The Law is on your Side' guide to Safety Orders as part of the Too Into You campaign 2020.
Women's Aid has also launched an instant messaging service to provide support online. The service is available from 7pm-10pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday on www.toointoyou.ie.
The campaign also helps young women to spot the 10 key danger signs of dating abuse and provides information to combat online stalking and digital abuse and shares young women's stories.
As you can see in the video attached, we worked in roses packaging on the D day into the college. For that, we used the materials bought previously.
It was the rush because we were only three and we had to deliver approximately 80 roses in the afternoon.
But with a positive energy, we handled it :)
Elsa and Giorgia doing the deliveries on Friday 14th of February.
As we can see in the pictures below, we had pretty good feedbacks :)
