Watson Nichols - Director
About Me
Watson Nichols is the head band director at Rosepine Jr/Sr High School. Watson has fifteen years of experience working in both Texas and Louisiana. Watson attended Northwestern State University where he obtained his Bachelors in Music Education and taught in Texas as the assistant director at Mildred ISD for five years and one year as the head director at Newton ISD. He began assisting at Rosepine in 2016 and in 2022 became head director. Watson is honored to continue to serve as band director at the program that formed his musical philosophy and inspired him to pursue music as a career. He is excited to continue the legacy of musical excellence at Rosepine Jr/Sr High School.
