Solid works is an app that allows its users to create and manipulate 3D objects. using this app has allowed me to create a simple pressure plate and a strange looking vase. DO NOT USE SOLIDWORKS, ASSEMBLY SYSTEM MADE BY 3 YEAR OLD, PARTS GLITCH, TUTORIALS ARE WAY TO SIMPLE MINDED. I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS APP.
This is a simple vase created using solid works by connecting 2 shapes via a physical object. by using a square that was moved forward and connecting it to a polygon I created this vase looking object.
To start the pressure plate drawing I made a simple "boss bass" which acts as a simple base for the drawing.
After creating a simple base I created a ring to sit on this base to act as a connecter for the future cylinders.
I added a hole in the center of the first base. I have no clue what exactly this pressure plate build is so I have no clue what its use is but it looks cool in the final project.
I used the "fillet" feature to smooth off the edge of the ring. As far as I know this only has a cleanliness factor and does not affect its usage at all.
Using a special command I centered an extruded boss/base creating the first of 6 cylinders. I still have no clue how this pressure plate works but im thinking that the cylinder is actually important.
using the extruded cut command, I was able to put a hole in my cylinder for the sake of I don't know I should look up how this thing works before I do any more steps.
Using the filet command I cleaned up the edges of my brand new cylinder blending it into the walls around the base and wall extrude.
Using this command I started the process to duplicating the cylinders so I wouldn't have to redo the process 5 more times.
Finally I blended the cylinder bottoms and the edges of the base way to the ground base finishing the object.
This is the final product of the first lesson of solidworks. This completed item can be used for hundreds of things that I don't know don't ask me I just designed it.
To start the Solidworks box object I created a simple 60 by 60 by 60 box.
After creating the box I started putting holes in it for the sake of the project.
For this step I simply put even more holes in the box, nothing much else.
Just putting holes in it. What more do you want me to say here?
For this step I put a 2.0mm filet on all entrance holes to add flavour to this block.
This is the final product of the Solidworks hole block. I've got no clue what this thing does but it looks cool.
This is part one of a larger 3 part tutorial. it looks like a Lego piece idk what to say.
This is the second part and the bottom to the larger part that took 3 poorly made tutorials to create.
This is the final product of the 3 tutorials made by mating together the 2 earlier designs.
this is a "Drawing Version" made in the solid works app. it outlines the final product and its parts (yes I'm aware it doesn't show the full thing, yes it glitched, yes I tried everything, no I'm not fixing it anymore).Â
Created a basic circle base
first cut for gear notches.
second cut for gear center
third extrude for coolness factor
multiplying extrude.
multiplying notches
completed product.
