In 2020 I joined a union to fight for better conditions for the self-employed. I contributed to Centre for London's research into self-employed Londoners, spoke with BBC Radio 4 on how self-employed people were impacted by the pandemic and hosted a 'Gender in the Workplace' discussion group for union members.
