I live in Terra Pomaria, Principality of the Summits, Kingdom of An Tir.
I am most recognized for my bardic arts as a performer, teacher and coordinator. I also have judged other A&S competitions. I am experienced in retinue and court coordination, as well as behind the scenes administrative roles.
I am interested in just about anything, but tend to focus on making clothing and accessories, scribal work, and fiber arts.
Modernly I am am a middle school math and science teacher, a semi-professional performer and volunteer with the Oregon Country Fair.
I am married, and my husband and I enjoy performing together and travelling the world.
I have a BA in Music and Masters in Teaching and Learning.
If you want to interact with me on social media, BlueSky is your best bet these days, though you can still find me in the Metaverse.
I joined the SCA in 2007. My first event was Grand Thing that May. I lived in Adiantum from 2007 until 2013. In that time I served Adiantum as Baronial Scribe, Bardic Champion, Deputy Seneschal and Temporary Seneschal. I learned to be an Event Steward and ran and helped run several events. I became a Cohort of Adiantum in 2009. I was also Summits Chronicler from 2011-12. In 2012 I became the first Bardic Champion of the Summits.
I founded a household in Adiantum called Ravensflight which focused on recruiting new members and service. We had a large period-ish encampment including several canvas tents that we made ourselves. This household became dormant around 2015.
In 2013 I became An Tir Deputy List Mistress, and then took over as List Mistress in 2015 until 2018.
I moved to Terra Pomaria in 2013, then back to Adiantum in 2017, then back to Terra Pomaria in 2020.
From 2018 to 2020, I took a step back from the SCA to focus on other hobbies, and then, with the rest of the world, took another step back in 2020 due to the Plague.
I have been working since around 2022 to find my place again in the SCA and find new avenues to explore, learn, teach and play.
In 2023, I was privileged to be supported in that journey by becoming an apprentice to Duke Styrkarr Jarlsskald.
