A special thank you to all our students and families who worked hard to sell raffle tickets and books. We know it takes time and effort to get those tickets out there, and we really appreciate everyone who got behind the raffle.
A big congratulations to our student and class top sellers! You put in a fantastic effort and we hope you love your prizes.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the ROPS Parent Group 2026 Raffle. We were so grateful for the wonderful support from our school community, whether you sold tickets, purchased tickets, encouraged family and friends to get involved, or helped spread the word.
The raffle was officially drawn at 2pm on Tuesday 22 September, with Constable Nadine present for the draw. All winners have since been personally contacted by the Parent Group Chairperson.
Together, our school community raised $13,534.80, which will go towards supporting our students and helping fund resources, programmes and opportunities at Royal Oak Primary School.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to Pak’nSAVE Royal Oak for generously donating our top prize, and to Manas Nanda from Barfoot & Thompson Royal Oak for his generous support with all our fundraisers.
Thank you once again to everyone who got behind the raffle. We really appreciate your generosity and support of the ROPS Parent Group and our school community.

Parent Group Update
What a fantastic start to Term 2 with the launch of our Whānau Caps! It was wonderful to see so many students wearing them around the school, and we were lucky to have beautiful sunny weather. If you missed out, Whānau Caps are still available to purchase from the school office.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our School Disco on 15 May. It was a fantastic evening, with our Acorns enjoying an early disco before the Oaks took to the dance floor. A special thank you to DJ Kelly, who kept everyone entertained and made it a true disco experience! We also extend our sincere thanks to all the volunteers who helped make the night a success and to everyone who came along and supported the event. A big thank you also goes to Dean for organising our Term 2 Samosa Sales, and to everyone who purchased samosas. Thanks to your support, we raised $913 for the school. We're excited to let you know the samosa sales will be back again in Term 4!
