Learn about our mission, our dedicated team, and how we support Royal Oak Primary School. We are committed to enriching the educational experience for all students.
Our mission and purpose
The ROPS Parent Group is a dedicated team of volunteer parents from Royal Oak Primary School. We meet once a month, typically on the first Wednesday, to plan fun and exciting fundraising events throughout the year. Our goal is to provide crucial support for the school's amazing opportunities in STEM, Music, Sports, and to ensure support staff are available in most classes to assist teachers. We are passionate about making a real difference in our children's education.
Meet Our Parent Group
Each year at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), we welcome parents and whānau to join the Parent Group.
Our role is to support the school by planning and running fundraising events that bring our community together while raising valuable funds to enhance opportunities for the students of ROPS. We believe fundraising should be fun, inclusive, and a great way to connect with other families.

"The parent group organises such awesome events, fundraises so passionately for our school and really support our tamariki and whanau. They are an integral and indisposable part of our school community and very much appreciated."
