Hall 

The new main hall complete with a vaulted acoustic ceiling, and 3 zones of dimmable lighting, is an ideal venue for private functions of all types. The ample dimensions of 15 mtrs long by 9 wide with an eaves height of 3.4 mtrs make it suitable for exercise classes and many forms of indoor sport. The hall is equipped with roller blinds. There is also a Public Address system with both corded and radio microphones. This system can also be used to provide background music from a connected device. An induction loop is fitted to assist any users who are hearing impaired.

Portable stage

There is a portable stage consisting of 18 panels with a height of 630mm. Each panel is one metre square. This can be configured as a full stage, smaller dias or a fashion catwalk etc. There are also handrails and valances. 2 deck panels, 1mtr x 0.5mtr along with one 200mm and one 400mm riser are used to form steps.. The stage may be used anywhere in the building but must not be used outside.

Community room

The community room has overall dimensions of 8 mtrs by 5.4. It is suitable for smaller classes and meetings. There is a full width bifold door opening onto the sports field. This enhances field events by providing cafe style facilities if required. The community room is also equipped with roller blinds.

Kitchen

The hall benefits from a large and well laid out fitted kitchen. It is equipped with a range cooker and extraction hood, refrigerator and quick cycle dishwasher. There are the normal small appliances. Another feature is a boiling water tap which is invaluable for coffee mornings and the like. A unique feature is the mobile island unit. This can be stored under the worktops. It can also be wheeled into the hall or community room to be used for buffets etc. There are large counters and powered serving shutters to both the hall and the community room.

Changing rooms

The eastern end of the Ropsley Hall is dedicated to sport. There are 2 large changing rooms complete with toilets and showers. There are also 2 officials changing room again with toilets and showers. These facilities are to full Football Association standards. Over looking the field is a mini kitchen or tea bar which makes the changing rooms self contained. A connecting door with the community room enables them to be accessed by internal users if required.

Field and play area

Ropsley Hall field has football pitches and a cricket square which are maintained by volunteer groundsmen. These are used by local clubs but are also available for casual hire. General field maintenance is by Ropsley Farms. Other sports facilities are a small basketball/netball court  and an AstroTurf cricket net. The playground adjacent to the car park has recently been rebuilt.  Both this and the field are available for general recreation during daylight hours.
