Ropsley Hall

The new Ropsley Hall, built adjacent to the site of Ropsley Memorial Hall, was completed in November 2020 at a cost of £880,000. These funds were a combination of major grants from the Big Lottery fund, The Football Foundation and Sport England. The remaining monies came from Hall funds, other charitable sources and the generosity of the people and businesses  of the Ropsley area. Many thanks.

The building consists of a main hall, community room and kitchen along with associated stores, toilets etc. The main entrance is equipped with a push pad operated door to give easy access for all users. At the eastern end of the building there are 2 changing rooms and 2 officials changing rooms built to full FA specification. This area also benefits from a mini kitchen suitable for preparation of beverages etc.The entire building has full underfloor heating.

Free WI-FI is available throughout the building.

The building sits on the southern edge of its playing field which is complete with football pitches and cricket square. There is also a play area on the opposite side of the main 1500 sq mtr car park. This provides parking for approximately 50 vehicles, along with 2 disabled spaces in front of the building. The car park is also floodlit. The play area and field are available to the public during daylight hours.

New hall completion

Olly Crofts from Burmor construction hands the keys to Paul Mason of Ropsley Hall on the 19th September 2020. This was the culmination of a year long build program. It was followed by the demolition of the old Ropsley Memorial Hall and the reinstatement of the site as car parking.

Reviews

Review from a hirer

"We had a lovely day today, thank you so much for letting us hire the hall. It was such a great venue, so spacious and the doors onto the field were great as it meant our guests could play on the field. We will definitely hire the hall again for any other functions."
