My name is Januš Aleš Luznar, a media artist, passionate musician, and art creator with over two decades of experience spanning music, audiovisual art, stage design, woodworking, and electronic music production.

Years ago, a gifted Kora from Burkina Faso transformed my creative path. Its soothing resonance ignited a deep fascination with traditional string instruments and their acoustic soul. This encounter led me to explore the rich heritage of global musical craftsmanship, blending my multidisciplinary background, from scenography & woodworking to sound composition, into the art of building acoustic instruments.

What began as a personal passion evolved into crafting bespoke instruments for others. Every custom order is a collaboration, honouring the player’s vision while infusing the instrument’s cultural essence. From concept to completion, I prioritise acoustic integrity, aesthetic detail, and the emotional connection between musician and medium.

Through my work, I aim to preserve the legacy of traditional instruments while building bridges between cultures, traditions and modernity. For me, music is more than sound it is a way to connect hearts, bring stories to life, and create a more harmonious world.
