In addition to our focused work in education, health, environment, and the empowerment of women and children, Roots & Rights Foundation actively engages in various miscellaneous social initiatives that respond to emerging local needs and enhance community well-being. These include:
During floods, pandemics, and other emergencies, we provide immediate relief materials, food kits, hygiene supplies, and medical assistance to affected families—especially in vulnerable rural areas.
We conduct legal literacy drives to educate rural citizens about their fundamental rights, government welfare schemes, and entitlements under laws such as RTI, RTE, and domestic violence protections. Legal camps and Nyaya Chaupals help bridge the gap between people and justice.
We run campaigns to encourage voter registration, women’s political participation, and awareness of local governance structures like Panchayats and Gram Sabhas—strengthening grassroots democracy.
We support rural youth through career counseling, exam preparation workshops, soft skills training, and awareness about government job opportunities—especially targeting first-generation learners.
We promote local folk arts, festivals, and traditional knowledge systems as part of community identity and pride. This includes organizing cultural events, wall paintings, and folk storytelling sessions.
We occasionally host health check-ups, legal aid, and support activities for elderly people living alone or in poverty, helping them access pensions and basic services.
These additional efforts reflect our belief in holistic rural development—where dignity, rights, and opportunity extend to all members of society. Roots & Rights Foundation remains committed to responding to community voices with compassion, urgency, and long-term vision.
