Chase is a remarkable P-TECH senior in the Business Pathway, currently earning 38 college credits and maintaining an impressive 3.61 GPA. He has successfully passed both TSI Math and ELAR, demonstrating strong academic skills and readiness for postsecondary success. Beyond the classroom, Chase excels in cross-country, showing dedication, discipline, and teamwork in athletics. He is admired by his peers and teachers alike for his respectful demeanor, integrity, and leadership qualities, consistently serving as a role model for other young scholars. Chase exemplifies the balance of academic excellence, personal growth, and community engagement that P-TECH strives to cultivate in all its students.

First generation students are the first in their families to pursue a college degree. These students typically face more barriers than the continuing generation students. Areas of struggle tend to be:

balancing priorities
financial barriers
persistence
social and emotional challenges
We would love to invite our families to join us for our "1st Generation Impact Series:
Dreams & Challenges."
Fee: Free
Location: Franklin D. Roosevelt High School of Innovation
Time: 6:00- 6:30pm
Audience: Any Roosevelt student and their families (all are welcome)
Purpose: To provide a bridge for our students and their families to understand the landscape of higher education.
2Gen Approach: Aim to improve family outcomes by supporting both students and their families simultaneously.
