Providing student engagements and opportunities that offer work-based learning and wrap-around supports to help students succeed.
Aligning regional workforce needs that guide students into high-demand, high-wage careers.
Partnering with IHE's (Institutions of Higher Education) giving students access to postsecondary education and workforce training opportunities.

The Office of Student Empowerment and Engagement at UT Southwestern Medical Center is now ACCEPTING Applications for HPREP. HPREP is a 3 weekend program for high school students in grades 10th-12th, located in the DFW Metroplex.

There is no cost to students and breakfast and lunch will be provided each week to the students that are accepted into the program.

This is a great opportunity for students to receive hands-on exposure to healthcare careers through interactive workshops, conversations with healthcare professionals, a college/career fair and mentorship from our current UT Southwestern Medical, Graduate, Health Professions, and Public Health students.

Students are required to attend every week of HPREP and will receive a Certificate of Completion on Week 3.

Applications are open until Friday, November 7th.
