Delete Your Room Setuu Account

Welcome to the Room Setuu Account & Data Deletion page.

Room Setuu is a rental marketplace by Anuj Digital Labs that connects room owners with renters.

If you have a Room Setuu account and want to permanently delete your account and associated data, you can initiate the deletion process using the options below.

How to Delete Your Room Setuu Account

Option 1 — Delete From the Room Setuu App

If you can access your Room Setuu account:

1. Open the Room Setuu app.

2. Sign in to your account.

3. Open Profile.

4. Open Settings / Account Settings.

5. Select Delete Account.

6. Review the information about data that will be deleted.

7. Complete the required security verification.

8. Confirm that you understand that account deletion is permanent.

9. Complete the final account deletion confirmation.

After the deletion process is successfully completed, your Room Setuu account will be signed out and the account deletion process will be completed according to our data deletion policy.

Request Account Deletion From the Web

If you no longer have access to the Room Setuu application, you can still request deletion of your Room Setuu account and associated data.

To request deletion:

Email: roomsetuu@gmail.com

Send an email from the email address associated with your Room Setuu account.

Use the following subject:

Room Setuu Account Deletion Request

In your message, please include:

• Your name

• Email address associated with your Room Setuu account, if applicable

• Phone number associated with your Room Setuu account, if applicable

• A statement confirming that you want to delete your Room Setuu account

Example

Subject: Room Setuu Account Deletion Request

Message:

I request the permanent deletion of my Room Setuu account and the associated data.

Name: [Your Name]
Email: [Your Room Setuu Email]
Phone: [Your Room Setuu Phone Number]

I confirm that I want to delete my Room Setuu account.

For security, we may need to verify that the request was made by the account holder before processing the deletion request.

Please do not send passwords, OTPs, payment card numbers, Firebase credentials, or other sensitive authentication information by email.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

When an account deletion request is successfully verified and processed, Room Setuu will delete or remove the user-associated data that is eligible for deletion under our data deletion policy.

Depending on the account and features used, this may include:

• Room Setuu user profile information

• Account-related authentication information

• User preferences

• Owner listing information associated with the account

• User-uploaded listing photos and other eligible media

• Saved/favorite information, if applicable

• User-specific credits and related account data, where eligible

• User-specific contact/unlock records, where eligible

• User-specific analytics and activity data, where eligible

• Notification preferences and eligible notification data

• Other personal information associated with the Room Setuu account

The exact data affected depends on the features used by the account.

Owner Accounts and Listings

If you are a Room Owner, deleting your Room Setuu account may affect the room listings associated with your account.

Your account and eligible owner-associated data will be processed according to the Room Setuu deletion process.

Public marketplace availability of your listings may be removed as part of account deletion.

Some records may be retained where retention is necessary for legitimate purposes such as:

• Security

• Fraud prevention

• Abuse prevention

• Payment reconciliation

• Dispute handling

• Legal or regulatory compliance

• Required business records

Where information must be retained for one of these purposes, it will be retained only as required and handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.

Credits, Unlocks and Payments

If your Room Setuu account has used renter credits, contact unlocks, subscriptions, or payments, account deletion does not automatically mean that:

• unused credits are converted into cash,

• payments are refunded, or

• third-party payment-provider records are deleted.

Payment and transaction records may be retained where necessary for payment processing, reconciliation, fraud prevention, security, accounting, legal, or regulatory requirements.

Room Setuu does not ask users to send payment credentials through the account deletion request.

Data Retention

Room Setuu aims to delete personal data associated with a deleted account when deletion is requested and verified.

Certain information may need to be retained for legitimate purposes, including security, fraud prevention, payment reconciliation, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or regulatory compliance.

Any retained information will be handled according to the applicable retention requirements and our Privacy Policy.

We do not use account deactivation or account freezing as a substitute for account deletion.

Request Verification

Because account deletion is permanent, Room Setuu may verify the identity of the person making the request before completing deletion.

This may involve verifying information associated with your Room Setuu account.

For your security:

Never send your password, OTP, authentication token, payment card details, or other confidential credentials in an account deletion email.

After Account Deletion

Once your account deletion has been completed:

• You will no longer be able to sign in to the deleted Room Setuu account.

• Your eligible account-associated data will be deleted according to this policy.

• Your owner listings may no longer be available on the Room Setuu marketplace.

• You may need to create a new account if you want to use Room Setuu again.

Account deletion is permanent and may not be reversible.
