About Ms. Bernosky

Hello! I'm about to start my fourth year of teaching second grade at Guadalupe. Before I was a teacher I was born and raised in Hollister, California. My mom was a teacher just like my grandma and my older sister is a high school teacher in Santa Clara. You could say teaching runs in my family!

I went to college at Chapman University where I majored in Education and minored in Language and Literacy and Disabilities Studies. I loved volunteering at schools and after school programs and knew that teaching was for me. After college I went to UC Davis to get my credential and Masters of Arts in Teaching. After graduation, I packed up my things and moved to San Francisco and got a job at Guadalupe!

I love teaching second grade and being around children. My favorite thing to teach is reading because I love reading! When I'm not teaching I love running in Golden Gate Park, reading, baking cookies, and being outdoors.

This is my brother, sister, and me on a hike.

My sister and I ran the LA Marathon together. It was so hard!

This is my family's dog Molly. She's actually a service dog that works with kids at my mom's school!
