RoofBid values your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it is stored, and your rights regarding your information. We keep things straightforward—no legal jargon, just plain English.

Information We Collect

RoofBid collects only the information necessary to help you create roofing proposals and manage projects efficiently. This includes:

• Project Information: Client names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and ZIP codes.

• Measurements: Roof dimensions, sketches, and annotations.

• Photos: Images you take or import for annotating roof areas.

• Signatures: Digital client signatures captured within the app.

Important: We do not collect unnecessary personal information or track your activity.

How We Store Your Data

All data in RoofBid is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. We do not maintain a cloud server or third-party database. This means:

• Projects, client info, measurements, proposals, photos, and signatures never leave your device.

• You retain full control over your data at all times.

• If you delete a project or signature, it is permanently removed from your device.

Use of Third-Party Services

The only third party involved in your data is Apple, which manages subscription payments through the App Store. RoofBid does not see your payment information.

We do not use:

• Analytics SDKs

• Advertising SDKs

• Crash reporting SDKs

Any crash or usage data collected via Apple services (like TestFlight or the App Store) is anonymous and outside our control.

How We Protect Your Data

Your data is private by design:

• Stored locally on your device

• Encrypted and inaccessible to other apps

• Not transmitted over the internet unless you explicitly share a proposal

This ensures client and project data remain confidential.

Your Rights

You have full control over your information:

• Delete Projects: Remove any project, measurement, photo, or signature directly from the app.

• Export Data: Share proposals or project summaries as PDFs for client records.
