Digital media exploration

Project Description :

This Project will have me collecting different types of media, consisting of an Image, GIF, Video and a audio file. Then being able to describe how i got them then cite them.

For the Image I chose a red panda

I found this picture in creative commons by searching up "Red panda"

I took a screenshot of it and uploading it to my website

It is under the cc0 1.0 universal copy right meaning - i can copy, modify, and perform the work for commercial purposes without needing the owners permission

Video

I got this video using creative commons to find me a video on Youtube related to red pandas

Then I copied the URL to the video and uploaded it to my website

Cant find the license to it but you can find it on Youtube by the channel "Animal Scoops" with the video title of "Most Adorable Red Panda - cutest compilation"

GIF - Animation

I got this Gif from Pixabay.com by searching up "Panda"

I downloaded this, the website has a universia license with all the content saying

All content can be downloaded and modified

but not for commercial purposes and can not be modified in a bad way

I found this on the website Uppbeat.io I searched up ocean sounds

I downloaded it, on the page with the sound clip it stats that their is no copy right issues and its royalty-free

lessons learned

This has really showed me that it important to credit the people you created things that you use and if you are going to use someone elses work make sure to check their policies and licenses with using their work
