Project Description :

      This project is about  Finding 2 different Real life examples of Cyber security, for My Project I chose the cyber hack on Yahoo in 2013 and Sony Pictures Hack in 2014 

Yahoo attack in 2013 

The Attack on Yahoo in 2013 Is known as A Hacking Attack, One of the biggest known breaches of a company's network.  Which caused the data of 3 billion user Accounts to be stolen, Yahoo stated that they believed it was an attack of a Foreign Government.  That Stolen data would then be sold to various people for espionage purposes towards people like the President and on the white house. With many investigators finding Russian Spies to blame.

Sony Pictures hack of 2014 

The attack on Sony Pictures was due to the use of malware which was because of North Korea.  It was said that they used Sophisticated malware which did not only steal data but deleted it from the systems. This hack led to the release of sensitive emails and information. The FBI found a suspect and have a warrant for his arrest, his name is Park Jin Hyok .
