These are a few of my favorite things.
A quilt for my son and daughter-in-law. I quilted this on my Simply Sixteen on the 5ft Little Foot frame .
Mom and Me at a jam. I don't play often so I need to concentrate. I'm playing a bass ukulele.
Turkey Track Band, an adapted pattern
Cabled neck warmers, made for family
Some years I illustrate our Christmas cards.
Digital art, drawn entirely on an iPad. The real roses were a Valentines gift from my husband.
Mug Rug Fun, but I don't recommend hand quilting through multiple layers of Batiks.
A wood carving I made for my parents anniversary.
I had this yarn for years before I decided what to make. It is light as a feather, and almost too warm to wear!
My original Butterfly and Rose took first place in the Nebraska State Fair. They didn't have a separate category for needle lace, so it competed against all needle work types. They had a needle lace category the next year....but by then the military had moved us.
Some of my Zia coasters. ZIA is short for Zentangle Inspired Art, it isn't a true Zentangle because it doesn't follow the rules to qualify. Still it is relaxing and fun to do.
Bobbin lace being made. Those are pins, holding the sewing thread in place while I work. The bobbins are the wooden sticks.
The finished piece. This was a huge pattern I ordered from Europe, I reduced the size. it took 40 days to make and over a thousand pins. A gift to my church.
