Welcome to Rondelkin Rising, the movement to explore and promote the potential merger of the towns of Ronda and Elkin, North Carolina. We are united by a shared history, a connected economy, and a belief that a combined municipality, "Rondelkin," could unlock new opportunities and better serve our communities. Creating a Rondelkin for us all is the right step forward!

Why Merge
Ronda and Elkin?
The towns of Ronda and Elkin share a deep-rooted history in the beautiful Yadkin River Valley. Over the years, our communities have become increasingly intertwined. We share infrastructure, social networks, and economic opportunities. Yet, we operate as two separate entities, often with overlapping services and missed chances for collaboration. It is time for us to claim our destiny and unite as one Rondelkin.
