My philosophy of education is based on an evolving array of experiences I have had in and out of the classroom. I believe that the instruction and academic skills learned in the classroom provide a springboard for lifelong learning. My ultimate goal as an educator is to provide opportunities and content that matches the physical, social, and emotional needs of each and every student. In my philosophy, learning with these concerns in mind allows me to know where each student is at, so that they may have the skills to become independent and successful. In a sense the teacher provides the knowledge of how to work the equipment, the students are then the benefactors of knowing how to use the tools they will need to succeed in life.
