Homeschool Support for Autism Families Who Want a Different Way
I started this work because I’ve been where you are.
Feeling like you have to follow traditional public school methods to do things “right.”
Questioning your instincts. Worrying about what others will think if you step away from therapies or services that aren’t working for your child.
I understand that pressure and how heavy it can feel.
It took me years to trust myself and find a better way.
After 7 years of homeschooling my children, the last 2 years have been the most freeing. I’ve created a flexible, supportive approach that allows my high-support-needs child to truly thrive—while I stay present, confident, and connected as a parent.
You don’t have to stay stuck in the cycle of expectations.
There is a way to homeschool that honors your child’s needs and your family’s well-being.
That’s where I come in.
I help autism families:
Move away from rigid, one-size-fits-all schooling approaches
Build a homeschool rhythm that works for their child
Gain confidence in their decisions
Create a calmer, more connected home environment
This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing what actually works—for your child and for you.
You are allowed to do this differently.
And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
REVIEWS
“Rona has been an invaluable source of guidance and support during our homeschooling journey. When I first began homeschooling my son, who is profoundly autistic and nonverbal, I felt overwhelmed and unsure of how to navigate both the charter school system and the day-to-day structure of learning at home.
Rona consistently demonstrated patience, knowledge, and a genuine willingness to help. She took the time to clearly explain processes, share practical schedules, and recommend curriculum strategies that had been effective for her own child. Her insight made a meaningful difference in helping us find our footing and build confidence.
What stands out most is her reliability—whenever questions or challenges arise, I know I can turn to Rona for thoughtful guidance or direction toward the right resources. Her support has been a significant asset to our family, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking knowledgeable and compassionate assistance in homeschooling, especially for children with complex needs.”

“I would like to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to Rona Jones for being such a thoughtful and compassionate professional. Your guidance has been incredibly helpful as I navigate curriculum decisions with Mission Vista Academy for my child on the autism spectrum. I truly appreciate your support and expertise in helping me better understand my child’s IEP and their academic and social progress. Most importantly, thank you for always being available to listen, offer advice, and advocate alongside our family.”

“I’ve had the privilege of knowing Rona for over five years, and she is truly one of the most fearless and dedicated advocates I know. She has a deep drive to understand systems - policies, procedures, and how to navigate them - so she can better support the families and children she serves.
Rona brings invaluable lived experience, having supported children across a wide range support needs. She is adaptable, persistent, and genuinely committed to the disability community. She doesn’t accept “no” when she knows there’s a way forward - she keeps learning, pushing, and advocating.
Just as important, Rona is always ready to lend a listening ear. She creates a safe, supportive space where people feel heard and respected, holding things in confidence and never approaching situations with judgment. She is constantly working to better herself, always learning and growing.
Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have Rona in their corner.”

Hi! I wanted you to know that everything went smoothly without a school response. I checked independently and he is officially withdraw from public school.
But most importantly I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me bring my son home.
He is much happier and more engaged to learn with his living skills and of course his academics.
Honestly it is nice to see the light come back into my son’s eyes. We have a lot of recovery from burnout but I feel like I have my son back for the most part.
I love that he is able to have me to read to him again and I teared up because I forgot how much I missed our reading time together.
And FYI I talked to [advocate] today and she personally recommended since she knew how knowledgeable you are about PSA process and I told her I went through you to help with the withdraw process and she was very pleased that I did so keep up the good work!

Rona has been such a blessing during our homeschool journey. When I first started looking into homeschooling, I felt overwhelmed and unsure where to begin, especially navigating Regional Center questions and understanding what steps to take for my children. Rona took the time to guide me through the process with patience, kindness, and so much encouragement.
She answered questions I didn’t even know I needed to ask, helped me feel confident in my decisions, and reminded me that I am capable of creating the right learning environment for my children. Her support gave me the confidence to finally begin our homeschool journey, and I’m so grateful for her knowledge, guidance, and genuine care for families.
If you are feeling nervous, lost, or overwhelmed about homeschooling, I cannot recommend Rona enough. She truly makes you feel supported every step of the way.
