Applied Computer Vision and Machine Learning
Design and implementation of an artificial vision system based open-source for quality control on WDA (Wiper Direct Actuators) manufacturing. In this project I worked directly in the production cells as quality and process supervisor together. An intelligent system to detect problems in quality was developed. At the end a considerable reduction in breakdown time cycle and scrap production were achieved.
Applied Robotics and Mechatronics
Design and Implementation of a 5 Degrees of Freedom Manipulator based open-software for analysis of constrains in human-robot interaction. The developed of a lightweight robot using 9 Kg servomotors was achieved at the end of this project, force control algorithm was implemented in order to analyze the behavior of applied forces during interaction task with the user and the response of the full system under limitations implemented by software.

Haptic Rendering of the Acceleration of Particles Moving along Pre-specified Paths
The goal of this project was to use the Novint Falcon haptic device to allow the user to feel how the direction and magnitude of the acceleration of a particle changes as the particle moves along some path.
A graphical virtual environment was developed to show a sphere (particle) moving along a 2-D path; also a GUI was built which allows the user to select a path, how the particle moves along it and what component of the acceleration (tangential, normal or both) to feel.
The simulation was performed using Matlab/Simulink Visualization Toolbox to analyse the particle's behavior before testing the demo on the device.
