2017 - First idea
Gugun was a film mentor in a high school film club. He made a workshop for his mentee, produced a short film titled The Rolling Head. The film combined a story with simple practical and digital effect. You can watch that film on media section of this site. This project lead to the creation of Rollinghead, an original monster creature character by Gugun. It is based on Indonesian Javanese folklore demon but Gugun had reimagined and redesigned it into a new character. He also wrote the new lore for the character. Gugun then developed it into a feature length film treatment.
2017 - First draft
Gugun wrote the first draft. The story is about a village raided by Rollinghead monsters. His friend Bhagas Panditatva later joined as co-writer. The raided village version seems to be expensive to produce so Gugun decided to write the second version, the version that we focused on. The story focus only on two characters, Adam and Sita. For years Gugun and Bhagas waited to get a chance to pitch the script but met no chance.
2023 - Series
Gugun developed Rollinghead character into 8 episodes series treatment. It is about a mother and her son trapped into a village raided by Rollinghead. Gugun pitched the idea to a pitching forum but rejected. He decided to save the idea for later.
2025 - New team
Gugun proposed Panji Respati to join Javora Studio and serve as producer. Later Javora Studio collaborated with Cinelogic headed by Ardi Setiawan and Healza Kurnia under new name: Cinevora. Gugun pitched his old script to the new team.
2026 - Second draft
Panji arranged Rollinghead script reading session with Cinevora. The result was that Gugun revised the script to be the 2nd draft.
2026 - First Producer's Lab

Panji Respati received mentorship from Yulia Evina Bhara (producer and founder of KawanKawan Media), Makbul Mubarak (director and writer of the film "Autobiography"), and Cattleya Paosrijaroen (a producer from Thailand, known for the film "A Useful Ghost").
