Director's Statement

I've loved monster and creature movies since I was a kid. This is a psychological monster creature horror film inspired by the legendary Javanese folk demon, “Glundhung Pringis”. Monster creature is a rare genre in Indonesia, and to my knowledge, Glundhung Pringis has never been adapted for the big screen. This film explores themes of loyalty, responsibility, and prejudice. The terror the characters face comes not only from outside but also from within.
