Meet The Librarian!

Hello!  I am Ms. Irish, the Rolling Hills teacher-librarian.  I have a Master’s in Teaching and Learning and am working on a Master’s in Library Science.  I have been a special education teacher in this school for 25 years.   

I believe in teaching children responsibility early in their school years.   One of my goals in addition to fostering reading, is to teach children how to use computers positively.  Children will learn skills in researching sources, what a reliable source looks like, citing sources, and respecting copyright.  They will be instructed in appropriate digital citizenship, including cyberbullying and privacy while on the internet.  These skills are needed now and in your child’s future lifelong learning.
