About RYU

The Rohingya Youth Union (RYU) is a youth-led organization founded to empower and unite Rohingya youth toward building a peaceful, educated, and resilient community. We believe that young people are the key drivers of positive change and lasting peace within the Rohingya community and beyond.

RYU works to strengthen youth leadership, promote education, and foster social harmony through advocacy, capacity-building, and community engagement. Our initiatives focus on developing skills in leadership, human rights, peacebuilding, and refugee law to help young Rohingya become confident advocates for their people.

We envision a future where Rohingya youth are empowered to lead with dignity, contribute to peace and development, and actively participate in shaping decisions that affect their lives. Guided by principles of unity, equality, and justice, RYU strives to create opportunities for youth to learn, lead, and lift their communities together.
