I was born in the beautiful city of Constitución, called “La Perla del Maule”, which one is in the South-Central part of Chile; place where you can enjoy of river, beach, dunes, and mountains.
If you ask me, the river is the best! Maule’s River is the cradle of great national canoeists and I had the pleasure of competing doing this for seven years (2001-2008).
Mr. Hugo Ramón Soto Díaz was my coach and also He trained young people of different ages to represent Constitución in national competitions which ones I ran as well.
I did not achieve to become the canoeing champion that I dreamed for, however, I enjoyed every race and even more, every trip with my teammates…Nice people and great times that I will never forget.
In 2009, I began studying Mathematical Pedagogy at Universidad Católica del Maule, motivated by teaching mathematics and deepening my disciplinary knowledge, I did numerous assistantships, and I was able to collaborate in the university teaching work and learn about the research work.
In 2015, I started my master's studies in Applied Mathematics at the Bio-Bio University, Concepción. I worked as teacher and one more time, I really made great friends.
I am Ph.D. in Applied Mathematical Modeling at Universidad Católica del Maule. My research interest centers on the interconnections among resource availability, allocation strategies, and life-history of organisms.
Actually, I am academic of Facultad de Ciencias Básicas at Universidad Católica del Maule, Chile, and director of Applied Mathematical Modeling PhD.
