I am a 4th year PhD student at the Department of Mathematics at Brandeis University working with Carolyn Abbott. I am mainly interested in geometric group theory and low dimensional topology, but also have a soft spot for mathematical logic. My current research lies in geometric group theory, more specifically, mapping class groups of graphs, and graph end spaces.
Rocky is short for Rachmiel (pronounced [ˈɹɑχ-mi-ˌɛɫ]), and I use he/him pronouns.
My non-mathematical interests include making music, spirituality, going on adventures, learning about different cultures, and so much more.
