Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00–17:00. We’re usually out exploring the great outdoors on weekends, so responses might take a little longer then — but we’ll get back to you as soon as we can once we’re back at our desks.
Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to helping you plan your next adventure with Rocky Shore Safaris.

Usually at a designated coastal point near the beach we are using for the Safari (details provided upon booking).
Absolutely! We have a strict approach to how to interact with the marine animals in a safe, respectful way. Our trained guides have experience working with these creatures and are skilled at recognising signs of stress. We always ensure animals are kept in the water and never moved far from where they were found — protecting both them and their fragile intertidal home
Yes it’s perfect for kids! We also offer a Junior Rocky Shore Safari, designed especially for younger explorers.
Our other tours include content for older audiences but are still explained in a fun, simple way for kids joining in.
Please note: adult supervision is required for children under 10 years old..
Every Safrai is different and seeing every intering marine creature isn't always guaranteed, however we will most likely see colourful seaweeds, starfish, mussels, limpets, anemones, barnacles, whelks, winkles, urchins, chitons and octopus.
Our Rocky Shore Exploration and Sunset Exploration Tours are approximately 60-90min, while our Juniour Rocky Shore is 45min.
Wear comfortable clothes, bring something warm (the sea breeze can be chilly), and shoes with good grip for walking on wet, uneven rocks.
A hat, sunscreen, water, and your curiosity! A small backpack for personal items is handy.
No swimming required, but expect a few splashes or wet shoes.
