Rockwell Roadrunners PTO, Inc. Mission Statement
The purpose of Rockwell Roadrunners PTO, Inc. is to plan and execute events that both raise funds to support the school and students as well as promote a positive learning environment. We believe poverty should not be a barrier to learning and strive to make each child feel safe, secure and accepted. We promote a positive social atmosphere for parents, students and teachers.
What is the PTO?
PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization. The Rockwell Roadrunners PTO, Inc. a 501c3 nonprofit organized by a team of current Rockwell Parents. Throughout the school year the PTO works together with Rockwell families to raise money via fundraisers, community donations and community partners to help provide support to the staff, students and families of Rockwell Elementary.
Through the donations received, the PTO is able to continue to provide bussing for school organized field trips, provide financial support for classroom needs/requests, provide activities throughout the year for students (such as Artist in Residence, provide prizes for the Rockin' Readers program, provide scholarships for graduates that are past Rockwell alum, etc) as well as help make various activities possible for families and students.
The PTO is always looking for parents that are willing to help volunteer their time and efforts in making the PTO as successful as possible by donating their resources in volunteering with us on various events, helping support us in raising funds for the year or helping organize various events the PTO hosts.
The success of the PTO directly benefits our students, families and staff at Rockwell and we appreciate any and all support provided
