Rocket Aerials was founded in the spring of 2023, and officially became part of Assumption Athletics in the fall of 2023. Two students, Savannah Dunaway and Ava Hulsewede, created RA with the hope of sharing their love of aerial arts with their fellow rockets. Both Savannah and Ava were freshmen at the time of Rocket Aerials’ founding.
The aim of Rocket Aer is to give Assumption students the ability to try aerial arts, perhaps for the first time, and enjoy a physical and artistic activity that aims not for competition, but for exploration and bettering oneself. Students will be given the opportunity to perform if they so choose. If they choose not to perform, there are also plenty of other vital aspects of the show they can take on or assist with.

Rocket Aer is a no tryout, no cut team. Absolutely no experience is required. If you want to fly with us, you fly with us!
