Tools Used: Articulate Storyline, Canva
Additional deliverables: Design Doc, Storyboard, Job Aid
Audience: All new and current employees of Bunji Corporation
Problem: Employees have a high rate of absenteeism resulting in low productivity and/or reduced work hours. There are also high rates of insurance claims among employees related to musculoskeletal disorders. The goal is to increase the proper use of ergonomic tools by 50% while decreasing the number of employees pursuing health care due to related injuries.
Solution: All staff will complete this elearning module by practicing real-life scenarios to increase knowledge and awareness of proper body mechanics, lifting techniques, and ergonomics. Finally, they will complete a scenario-based assessment to demonstrate they can successfully implement ergonomics into their daily work practices.
Highlights: This course includes a workplace scenario where one employee guides a co-worker through interactive activities to practice proper body mechanics and ergonomics in an office setting. There are knowledge checks along the way and a final assessment with feedback and multiple attempts.
Process: After analyzing the problem and generating possible solutions, I chunked the material into Body Mechanics, Lifting Techniques, and Ergonomics for standing and sitting workstations. Then, I created the Design Document and Storyboard to provide more details about the design for each section of material. Canva was used to create a job aid for a quick reference guide and the rest of the course was developed in Articulate Storyline. Once the training is implemented, I would evaluate the results of the training using:
Kirkpatrick's level 2 of evaluation: Final assessment is scenario-based with 5 questions (multiple-choice, matching, and multiple-answer) with a required 80% to pass. Learners will have unlimited attempts to pass the quiz.
Kirkpatrick's level 3 of evaluation: Employees would take a survey post-training to gather information about which strategies they intend to incorporate into their daily work practices. Supervisors would track observations of employees using ergonomics in day-to-day work practices including proper posture, proper lifting techniques, and use of ergonomic tools. Observations would be completed 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months post-training to track changes and progress related to ergonomics. There would be a consult 6-month post training with the company supervisors.

Additional deliverables: Design Doc, Job Aid
Audience: All new and current employees working for Sunny Meadows Village that perform duties related to move-outs, evictions, lease terminations, and holdovers
Problem: Sunny Meadows Village is experiencing a high profit loss due to staff not following move-out procedures or the eviction process correctly. The goal is to increase annual profit by 10% by holding residents accountable for late fees, deducting the correct fees before returning security deposits, and following correct eviction procedures.
Solution: All staff that perform duties related to move-outs, evictions, lease terminations, and holdovers will complete the eLearning module. They will practice real-world scenarios to increase their knowledge about common procedures and provide them with resources to provide a move-out letter, evaluate deductions, justify evictions, and implement the move-out process. The training will conclude with a 5 questions scenario-based assessment to demonstrate they can successfully perform these job duties.
Highlights: This course includes an interactive learning experience with multiple knowledge checks followed by a scenario-based assessment with feedback and unlimited attempts.

Kirkpatrick's level 3 of evaluation: Sunny Meadows would track evictions and move-outs including fees and deductions for the following year. I would check in with a supervisor 3- and 6-months post training to gather data, evaluate any changes, and re-assess the company needs.
