PLTW Cybersecurity
Come join the newest CS class offered at Service High and learn how to secure personal systems, e-commerce sites, and more. We delve into vulnerability scans and penetration testing and some ethics as we learn to defend data in today's complex cyberworld.
This class is an entry class with no prerequisites. It is a year-long course offering elective credit. As this is a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) course, you can count on hands-on learning through a multitude of security labs (sandbox virtual systems that we practice our techniques with).
The first three units of the course involve building up our toolbox for ethical hacking to keep data safe and the year ends with a fourth-quarter exploration of digital forensics and cryptography.
