I like to say that there is nothing impossible during my classes :)
I coach the teams participating in the international Wonder League Robotics Competition.
During 2020-2021 school year our kids participated for the second time. They were competing with over 6000 participants from over 91 countries. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 school closures, we did not have the time to finish our missions in time.
In Year 5 of the competition and the first year we participated, one of our teams reached the Invitational round demonstrating that:
there is nothing impossible, even when the kids in the team were meeting online due to social distancing measures;
it does not matter when you start learning programming and robotics. The important thing is to not give up.
I am a member of Wonder Squad for 2020-2021. Wonder Squad is a team of teachers, educators and EdTech specialists that develop learning content and test new solutions.
I have a plethora of certificates in the area and am also a speaker at international conferences.
For me it is of utmost importance to gamify our classes as much as possible. This is a way for children to learn new things faster, but also in fun way.
Pear Deck is an educational technology company offering a web-based application to K–12 schools and teachers. It turns the learning process into a true communication process, where students are able to provide feedback and teachers are able to personalize the learning content for their classes.
