“The whole thinking process is still rather mysterious to us,
but I believe that an attempt to make a thinking machine
will help us greatly in finding out how we think ourselves.”
Alan Turing, 1951
The Robotic Search Lab (RSL) is founded in August 2018
in the National Central University (NCU), Taiwan.
Search is an essential technology for rescue and other robotic applications;
while search is also central to daily human activity.
The whole searching process is still rather mysterious to us,
But we believe that an attempt to build a searching robot
will help us greatly in finding out how humans search for objects.
The purpose of Robotic Search Lab is as follows:
1. Explore the mystery between human search and robot search
2. Educate lead AI and Robotics engineers/researchers
