Data protection declaration of the ComeBack App

In Short

This app processes the following data:

• Data for saved places like addresses, location, time, date and personal notes.
  This data is stored on your mobile phone. If you have activated the backup of data for this app by Google in your mobile phone settings (for example to restore if a cell phone is lost) this data is also stored in a location managed by Google.

• Location data.
  In addition to the processing of zour location as described before, your location may be used to select advertisement, which is served to you and to analyse our user-base. See the following points.

• Data of your user behavior in this app.
  In order to improve the function, performance and the user experience, this app collects data about which functions you use within the app. This data is anonymized and analyzed by statistics across the entire user base.

• Technical data to improve the APP performance.
  Data is collected about the status of your mobile phone, such as the operating system version, the language set, the image resolution and the country of the user. In addition, data on program crashes is collected, which makes it possible to identify which function was used shortly before a malfunction occurred. This data is collected anonymously.

• Tracking for advertising
  A technology from Google is used to place advertising within the app, which selects and displays personalized advertising content for you. If you do not want to receive personalized advertising, you can change this in your general mobile phone settings (usually under data protection and privacy). You can also opt out of advertising through in-app purchases in this app. Data such as the amount and duration of advertising displayed is shared within this app with the AdSense service from Google. The AdSense service from Google might also use your location for their service.

The data collected in this app are used to fulfill the purpose of this app (saving Locations and letting the user access it later), the display of advertisements and the improvement of the performance and user experience of this app.

Data for saved Places in this App

All data to your saved places in this app are saved on your mobile phone and will not be passed on to third parties. If you use the <i> Save app data in Google Cloud </i> function, this data will also be saved in the Google Cloud. You can change this setting via the app management on your mobile phone.

If you enter highly sensitive data in this app, be aware that that third parties can gain access to this data on your mobile phone through manipulation and that the app creator cannot be held responsible for the whereabouts and use of the data in the Google cloud.

Location data

Your location is determined and saved within this app. This happens every time you save a place. The previous section applies to these data.

In addition, your location is used for advertising purposes (more details below) and to analyze app performance (more details below).

Data for the placement of advertising

The AdSense service from Google is used to place advertising within this app. This service uses various techniques to identify users and present personalized advertising content. A wide variety of data such as user behavior and location data are used. It can be assumed that for this purpose data about the user from different areas are linked, to enable the service of personalized advertising.

This data is stored in Google servers and the developer of this app cannot guarantee that this data is only used for this purpose and where and in which country this data is stored.

The display of personalized advertising can be deactivated on Android phones in the phone-wide settings. This can usually be found in the settings of your mobile phone under the item <i> Data protection or privacy</i>.

Data for determining the technical performance

In order to guarantee and improve the functionality of this app, this app collects data using the Firebase-Crashlytics service from Google. For this purpose, technical data about the device used, such as the operating system version, set language, region of the user and screen resolution are collected and stored on Google servers.

This data is then made available to the app developer via the display of statistics. In addition, in the event of app malfunctions, data is sent to Google servers that provide information about which program parts have led to a malfunction. The data can provide information about which function the user last used, before a malfunction occurred and in rare cases it could be possible to draw conclusions about the data last entered by the user. This data is stored in Google servers and the developer of this app cannot guarantee that this data is only used for this purpose and where and in which country this data is stored.

Data to improve the user experience

The Firebase Analytics service from Google is used to determine which functions of this app are used frequently. For this purpose, data is collected, such as length of stay in the views displayed in the app and the frequency with which buttons are pressed. This data is sent to Google and stored on their server. They are made available to the app developer in the form of statistics in order to determine which functions are used more or less frequently.
