STEM Teaching Assistant
Summary
Robo Learn is a growing company that provides fun and creative Robotics club for 8 - 16 age group . Our students use cutting edge technology to make projects that are personally meaningful to them. They build and program LEGO® robots, solder DIY electronic projects. Most importantly, our clubs, workshops are fun for our students!
Robo Learn is seeking full-time teaching assistants with flexible schedules who are available as needed to help students in grades 8-16 age group with their projects in robotics club , workshops, Diwali camp and summer camp.
We welcome people interested in education who may not be familiar with the particular technologies we use, provided they are eager to learn and passionate about technology education. Our teaching assistants are compensated at competitive rates, and those who demonstrate excellent classroom performance will be considered for additional opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Teacher with Robotics clubs during the academic year
- Assist Lead Teacher with special events on weekends
- Assist with administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- Some experience working with children in a traditional or non-traditional environment
- Energy and enthusiasm about working with youth
- Ability to commit to program dates and trainings when scheduled
- Ability to be on time and prepared for programs
- Proficiency with computers
- Desire to learn new technologies
- Experience with educational technology is a plus
