Fc Receptor Biology Group

Developing strategies to modulate interactions between IgG and FcγRs

We aim to exploit genetic, biological, structural and biophysical knowledge to understand the pathogenesis of autoantibody-driven disease. Only by gaining a greater understanding can we develop novel treatments for disorders such as immune thrombocytopenia, vasculitis and rheumatoid arthritis.

We are based at the University of Leeds, in the LICAMM Section of Molecular and Personalised Medicine, headed by Prof Ann Morgan, in the School of Medicine LIGHT Laboratories.
