"A few years ago, Robin joined us as a math coach to enhance our approach to teaching mathematics. As someone who once believed I was inherently "bad" at math, Robin's professional development sessions transformed my perspective. Through her guidance, I realized that everyone, including myself, is capable of understanding and excelling in math. This shift in mindset not only sparked my own enjoyment of learning math but also inspired me to instill this belief in my elementary students.
Since then, I have expanded my role in education by tutoring high school students in math and leading a math technology class at my school. I developed a hands-on program that uses technology to make mathematical concepts tangible and engaging for students. Robin’s ability to empower educators and foster confidence has had a profound impact on my teaching journey, and I highly recommend her as an exceptional math coach and mentor."

My name is Angela Johnston, and I am writing this letter of recommendation for Robin Kubasiak. I have had the distinct privilege of knowing Robin as a parent and as a person that I could call and ask questions to assist my staff team. In all of my 20 years of teaching in Catholic Schools, I have never experienced a person like Robin that wants students to learn and grow even if the students are not in her own personal class. She is amazing.
Two words that immediately come to mind when I think about Robin are devotion and dedication. Robin has a strong desire that students learn and she has a real love for helping teachers to attain this desire. She has a real commitment to the well-being of the teachers academically, emotionally, socially, spiritually and personally and it is unwavering. Her dedication to helping teachers grow has a positive impact on success now and well into the future. Without hesitation, Robin will stop whatever she’s doing to take the time to help our teachers work through difficult academic concepts and assist them to find good practice strategies to make it happen. She can naturally see what needs to happen and she freely and gladly helps our teaching staff. Her patience, understanding and guidance assist teachers as they work through new and old curriculum while getting them excited to take on new mathematical practices and strategies Without a doubt, Robin’s guidance and support abilities are the driving force that encourages all of our teachers to journey toward becoming teachers who excel.
Robin’s enthusiastic energy and positive attitude creates an atmosphere where teachers feel comfortable and excited to learn. Besides her dedication for all students to be able to accomplish math, Robin will offer ideas even when not prompted to continue to feed the teachers with excitement and ways to help students learn. Our teachers willingly reach out to Robin to ask questions to better understand best practices. They know that Robin will respond with expediency and a wealth of ideas while at the same time making them feel good that they asked. The list goes on and on. She is willing to share her energy and positive attitude wherever and whenever it is needed.
I strongly recommend Robin as a math coach as her math expertise is contagious. She does a great job at making teachers feel good about what they know, then gets them excited by giving them added math tools for their success in teaching and the success of student learning. Robin has an incredible love for math and she wants so much for others to have the love for teaching math and learning math. She is amazing!
Thank you for your time and consideration in reviewing my letter of recommendation for Robin Kubasiak.
Sincerely,
Angela Johnston
