With 24 years of experience teaching mathematics at both the middle and high school levels, I am committed to helping students become confident mathematical thinkers. I am passionate about designing learning experiences rooted in research-based routines that invite students to discover concepts, make meaningful connections, and find joy in learning math. I currently teach at Sturgis High School and serve as a CPM Classroom Teacher Specialist. Previously, I worked as a Digital Interactives Developer for Great Minds’ Eureka Math, was selected as a Desmos Fellow (2019, Cohort 4), and served as a Math Consultant and Coach at St. Mary’s Assumption School from 2020–2023.
I also enjoy sharing my reflections on teaching through my blog and was honored to be named a 2024 Desmos Classroom Spotlight Activity Builder winner. Across all my roles, I strive to support classrooms where curiosity, reasoning, and student voice drive mathematical learning.
